Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Define the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Domain Data Schema, proposing efficient and scalable data schemas that meet the specific needs of the IAM domain. This includes analyzing existing IAM systems, identifying gaps, and suggesting improvements in the data structure.
Establish Data Governance and Ownership by setting clear roles and responsibilities for data management, defining data quality metrics, and ensuring compliance with internal and external data policies.
Create comprehensive documentation that outlines best practices for data modeling specific to the IAM domain, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational requirements.
Collaborate with Engineering Teams on Event Instrumentation, working closely with them to establish instrumentation requirements and ensure that collected data is accurate and actionable for decision-making.
Lead Project Planning and Execution by breaking down the overall project into manageable tasks and phases, overseeing planning and execution efforts to ensure all tasks are completed on time and meet defined objectives.

What you bring:
Over 5 years of experience in developing data products, proficient in Python and SQL.
Proven track record of translating open-ended analytics goals into production-quality datasets.
Proficiency in navigating ETL processes and tracing data flows through complex Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs), with experience in DBT.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, access, and storage techniques, ensuring efficient data management.
Expertise in using SQL within cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake), with skills in performance optimization, data partitioning, and window functions. Familiarity with GCP tooling is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and partners, and a passion for mentoring and teaching others.
Ability to operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams, even in ambiguous situations, with minimal guidance.
Experience in enhancing data quality through testing, tooling, and continuous performance evaluation.
