Who is your future team?
EVP is a department within AXIS working with Multi Channel Products, System Products, Explosion protected cameras, Thermal Cameras and Specialty Cameras. This position will be within our R&D Analytics group that will support all product areas; but we are now recruiting for Multichannel Product Analytics.

Working together in a team, you will be a part of how our new products come to life and within Analytics we are building clear use-cases that adds value of our cameras. We have a very close co-operation, and a friendly team-spirit at AXIS, ensuring an agile development of market-leading products. We strongly believe in knowledge sharing and insights. Your tasks would include:
As a Senior Analytics Engineer at AXIS you will play an essential part in the development of our new products as we invest heavily in future solutions based on technologies like Artificial Intelligence (Deep Learning / Machine Learning). The products in our department have different user cases than the rest of AXIS portfolio and therefore we need to adapt our Analytics features to EVP products and to build strong use cases for our customers in cooperation with our other teams working with Analytics. Our teams are working full stack with a scope all the way from the algorithms to the user interface.

What will you do?
As a Senior engineer in the team, you will be key in our journey going forward as a strong contributor in all aspects of the craftsmanship of software engineering. Overall system design with code fit for purpose and software lifecycle is a natural approach for you.

We need your experience and skills in C/C++, python and Linux, but as a Senior engineer we suspect you are open to new technologies and ready to learn what is needed to build some great software.

Since we are building applications on top of machine learning and deep learning it would be great if you have some experience with those concepts. If not, you are most likely very interested, self-taught or very very eager to dig into that world.
