We are searching for both senior and junior data analysts to contributed in the development of a Power System Digital Twin to reduce system level risk by building predictive maintenance models for Hitachi ABB Power Grid’s product offerings (HVDC, FACTS, AC Substation etc.).
As a data analyst you will be part of an agile team that applies digital, data-driven techniques and tools to create new values for the operation and lifecycle management of PGGI grid stations (HVDC, FACTS, AC Substation). In the senior role you will work across teams within the organization and with product management to establish digital business needs and priorities.
Possibility for work location in Västerås and Ludvika office.
Your responsibilities
Develop new analytics algorithms and functions for Grid Integration organization
As junior you are tasked in the analytics team and as senior you will in addition work close with the IoT team
Contribute with a strong problem-solving mindset and endurance to deliver and document high-quality technical solutions
Define the data collection and analysis processes needed to implement the methodology
As senior you will work the closely with the chief solution architect to define a consistent ICT architecture for the digital twin (including IIoT, data management, AI/ML)
Work alongside teams within the business and product management to establish digital business needs and priorities

Your background
You hold a Master of Science in statistics or mathematics or PhD in electrical engineering, Energy systems or Power Systems
Experience in data models and reporting packages
Matlab and/or Python and/or programming skills
You have an analytical mind and inclination for problem solving
Knowledge of Power Systems (AC and/or DC)
Fluent in written and spoken English is required
