About the position:

We are in search of a senior developer who is both curious and passionate about modern Android development in Kotlin. You should feel confident taking initiatives on your own, but also equally comfortable collaborating with others. Being driven and proactive, you won't hesitate to ask for assistance when needed. You will be joining a frontend team and will focus on apps, as well as the entire stack beneath them.

If you choose to work 100% remote, you will be given money to buy a desk and chair. We will buy screens, docking station headset, computer, phone etc. If you choose a mix you will be given a double set of equipment so you have the same conditions at home and at the office.

You can also choose to work abroad for 3 months a year. The only requirement is that you work approximately the same working hours as your colleagues.

What you will do:

You will engage in the entire development process, from requirement specification, story creation, and estimation to development, testing, release, and maintenance. You are expected to have a deep understanding of the entire stack to be able to recommend changes in architecture and grasp their long-term implications.

The team you'll be joining develops and maintains several apps for both iOS and Android. These casino apps operate across various markets and brands. The team is responsible for the entire stack, from app development to the underlying infrastructure in AWS.

We are looking for you, who:


Is a senior Android developer with at least 5 years of experience.

Have experience with Kotlin and Jetpack compose.

Wants to have a key role in designing the system.


Additional skill sets that will make us more interested, experience with:

Has working experience with iOS development

TypeScript

AWS or other cloud platforms

Information:

The recruitment process will include a programming test. If you want to show projects that you have done earlier, at work or in your spare time, you are very welcome to add that in your application.

Start: Immediately, with regards to the period of notice.

Scope: Full time, with flexible working hours.

Location: Stockholm or Norrköping, but there is flexibility regarding location. If you prefer to live and work elsewhere in Sweden, this can be arranged.

It is also possible to work from Paf's Head Office in Mariehamn, Åland Islands. If you work from Mariehamn we require you to work at least 3 days from the office.

There are good opportunities to work abroad for 3 months per year.
