We are looking for a Senior Android Developer with potential leadership skills to be part of one of the most interesting and challenging projects you will come across! We expand the team in a very intense and interesting development phase to create the driver's digital workplace. This is an opportunity to take the next step in your career as a seasoned developer. In this new project in our infotainment portfolio, you will make a difference with your experience, ideas, and leadership.
Your future job
You will be part of the Android Infotainment team with creative colleagues and work in close cooperation with the rest of the Infotainment area but also other groups and sections within Embedded SW and Functions.
We have several teams located both in Sweden and abroad with multiple nationalities working within Infotainment apps, system frameworks, and more. You will join one of these teams. There is also a possibility to take a leading role in one of the teams if that is of interest to you.
Examples of tasks:
• Implementing apps from scratch according to Scania design
• Creating solutions to integrate Scania services to AOSP.
• Taking part in daily scrum meetings and brainstorming with colleagues.
• Potentially leading a development team and representing the team in stakeholder meetings.
We believe that the following applies to you
As a person, you are a team player, unpretentious and transparent with your work, and are happy to share your knowledge with your colleagues. You are at your best when you have the opportunity to use your strong problem-solving skills and creativity.
You have a B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar. Strong experience in Android development, applications, or framework. You are used to working with tools like Git, JIRA, Android Studio. Knowledge of AOSP with a focus on Automotive applications would be a great advantage.
