Senior antenna engineer

We are currently looking for an exceptional senior RF and antenna engineer to strengthen our R&D organization.
As part of the electrical team, you will have a key role in Gapwave's mission of leveraging innovative technologies to deliver advanced solutions at mm-wave frequencies.
As a senior engineer you will take leading and hands-on responsibilities in one of our design teams, action a range of technical challenges.
Within product development, you will be directly following customer projects, from specification to design and verification.
Your technical expertise and drive will be key assets in technical interaction, RF design, quality assurance and mentoring.
Additionally, you will engage and participate in our research efforts and academic collaboration.
Required qualifications:
PhD degree or M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering or similar with 5 years relevant experience
Solid knowledge of electromagnetic theory, RF components and antennas
Direct experience in antenna and RF modelling, design and validation
Exceptional interest and drive in leading development and technical excellence
Proficiency in English and basic computer programming


Desired qualifications:
Experience with components and antennas in waveguide technology, ideally Gapwaveguide
Hands on experience with mmWave antennas, components and equipment
Familiarity with radar and telecommunication applications
