Senior AP Accountant

We are now looking for a Senior AP Accountant to join our Finance team!

We believe you have studied Finance or Accounting and have an interest to turn theory into practice. You have experience from bigger AP functions and know how to apply best practice to a growing AP function.

This is a full-time position based at Epidemic Sound’s headquarters at Södermalm in Stockholm.

How you will make an impact

As Senior AP Accountant, you will be responsible for the global Accounts payables end-to-end process for multiple entities within the Group. You will be both hands-on with AP process tasks as well as coordinate the junior accountants within the AP team to make sure the team will deliver accurate records of daily transactions. You will run various cross-functional projects to develop scalable and efficient AP process to fit the fast-growing pace of Epidemic Sound.

Tasks will include, but not be limited to:

- Coordinating the AP team and AP tasks
- Leading the cooperation with other departments within the organization
- Processing supplier invoices, including registration of invoices, coding, payments and reminders.
- Preparation of account reconciliations and journal entries in the closing
- AP superuser of the ERP system (NetSuite)

It would be music to our ears if you are/have:

- Ability to work with high efficiency and best practice in mind
- Experience from similar roles
- Outstanding communication skills in written and spoken English and Swedish. Additional language skill is a merit
- Proficient in Excel / Word / Outlook
