Senior Application Consultant (Marine Hull & Initial Design)

Working with and representing the AVEVA product portfolio through the following TPS Activities:
• Responsible for validating the product readiness of AVEVA products via a series of engineering and technical scenarios (to be created, maintained and constantly extended) within TPS.
• Management of AVEVA Product Support Incidents through the AVEVA Support Systems.
• Work with customers and AVEVA Business Units regarding enhancements/new feature requests – help assess need, benefit, cost, etc. Liaise with Product Development. Help provide detailed specifications to Product Development when an enhancement/new feature is to be included in the software, validate fit for purpose before customer receipt.
• Responsible for contributing to the creation and maintenance of the AVEVA product training material
• Use their industry & product knowledge to work with Product Development to continually improve the quality of the AVEVA products and provide high quality industry related skills and knowledge throughout the AVEVA organisation.
• Potential involvement with the delivery of AVEVA product support services (training, implementation, customisation, etc.) when AVEVA Business Unit resources are unavailable.
• Provide mentoring, guidance and challenging objectives to AVEVA Graduates during rotations within TPS Teams.
• Follow and support the AVEVA portfolio of products from development through to customer deployment and feedback.
• The Senior Application Consultant (Marine Hull and Initial Design) should use their industry experience to ensure that products within the AVEVA portfolio are robust and fit-for-purpose. Within TPS they should help guide and develop Application Consultants while ensuring AVEVA can offer high quality training collateral to ease customer adoption of the products.



• Experience and knowledge of engineering & design processes, practices, and deliverables.
• An ability to communicate product issues between customers and colleagues.
• Structured and able to create, refine and execute procedures while also having the ability to think quickly and react positively to any quickly evolving or unexpected scenarios.
• An ability to manage and handle multiple commitments simultaneously while working effectively in a dynamic team.
• An ability to document and communicate in English to a very high standard. Comfortable to deliver presentation material to a variety of audiences.
• An ability to take a proactive approach to challenges while meeting a responsibility to deliver.
• Knowledge of AVEVA Marine Outfitting, programming, exposure to C# and/or Visual Basic would be an advantage.
•A minimum of 5 years experience working within the engineering industry or working knowledge of the AVEVA Marine Hull & Initial Design products (ideally both).
