Senior Architect, SAP BASIS

Sr. Architect - SAP BASIS oversees Cepheid's global SAP landscape, ensuring its design, implementation, and overall health. This leadership role involves providing guidance to an extended technical team, both on-site and offshore. The Architect is hands-on, involved in design work and complex technical tasks, while also ensuring the monitoring and optimization of SAP systems and peripheral systems. Expertise in complex SAP architectures, infrastructure sizing, and landscape optimization is crucial. The Architect is also responsible for developing and maintaining technical roadmaps for SAP and supporting systems.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education or Experience (in years): Bachelor(s) Degree or 10+ years of Experience in SAP Basis
Knowledge and skills:
· Architect should possess strong expertise in SAP BASIS administration and running infrastructure on public cloud.
· Must have experience with at least one end-to-end SAP full lifecycle implementation and be familiar with Red Hat Linux and database administration (MS-SQL, DB2, and HANA).
· Experience working with a global team and extensive SAP application support experience are important. The Architect should demonstrate proficiency in SAP BASIS project planning and execution, have a deep understanding of organizational goals and objectives, and be well-versed in data privacy practices and laws. Knowledge of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures is also valuable.
