Senior Architect/Design Manager Architecture

We are building a state-of-the-art Gigafactory that will be one of the largest cell production facilities in Europe and construction is set to begin in 2023. To make that happen we need the best to join our in-house Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM) team. We are now looking for a Senior Architect - Design Manager Architecture to join our fantastic team – come be a part of an exciting journey together with us!

About the role

As part of the Civil, Structural, Architectural NOVO Energy design team, you will be leading the coordination and management of the architectural project of the industrial areas with focus on developing the technically advanced “clean & dry” rooms.

As a Senior Architect/Design Manager Architecure you will oversee and manage the consultant teams to meet deliverables and drive continuous development of the project’s planning, coordination and design.

What you will do in your role

- Coordinate interfaces between multiple vendors. Aligning design input from equipment vendors and building infrastructure.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, Swedish building regulations and general governance.
- Establishing robust quality control procedures to ensure that all models and datasets are accurate and that the level of information is fit for purpose.
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with a wide variety of project stakeholders both internal and external to the organization.

Your background

We believe you have worked with complex large scale industrial projects (automotive, pharmaceutical). You are skilled at communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.

Essentials

- Masters of Architecture degree
- 10 years of experience
- Specialist experience from “clean & dry” or similar complex industrial environments
- Have experience from large scale industrial projects
- Excellent written and spoken english skills, swedish is a plus
- Have the ability to discuss technical topics with a variety of audiences – contractors, engineers, and members of various divisions within organization.
