Key responsibilities
You will play a key role in the position as Senior Supply Chain SME in our transformation of becoming a global integrator of container logistics and providing seamless end-to-end delivery solutions for our clients. Through your project management and stake holding skills you will act as a internal focal for the more complex supply chain setups and support commercial organizations and implementation teams that we deliver on our service offerings.
In addition you will:
· Build and develop logistics capabilities to support our journey of becoming a global integrator of container logistics.
· Be the overall SCM process SME and ensure we are running the business in as smooth and effective way as possible with the customer in mind
· Help with escalations and make sure more complex issues are solved prior to customers are impacted
· Actively participate/drive and engage in SCM initiatives spanning from local to global
· Work together with local management teams to improve our setup with Global Service Center teams
· Drive productivity and continuous improvement initiatives
· Drive actions to support a positive customer NPS​
We are looking for
We believe the ideal candidate possess:
· Strong project management and leadership skills with ability to motivate and engage others​
· In depth operational background and understanding of freight forwarding and supply chain management operations and strong knowledge of local logistics operations and infrastructure, competition and systems
· Strong stakeholder management​ skills
· Strong business acumen​​ and commercial mindset
· Great communication skills, preferably being fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages as well as English
