Lately, BDO has had strong growth in Corporate Finance and has been among the most transaction-intensive advisers in Sweden in the “mid-market” segment. We are experiencing continued strong demand for our Due Diligence services and now want to strengthen our Transaction Services team further. About the job
As a Senior Associate in Transaction Services at BDO, you will mainly focus on financial due diligence, vendor assistance, vendor due diligence and to some extent financial modeling as well as valuation. As a Senior Associate, you will lead and independently complete certain parts of the assignments. In addition, you will support and develop more junior team members and ensure the quality of their work.
There is a great variation on assignments, both in terms of size and industry. Our customer base consists of private equity firms, listed and multinational companies to entrepreneurs and other owner-managed companies. In addition, you will be involved in cross-border projects and work closely with colleagues within BDO Corporate Finance outside Sweden's borders. You will generally work in project form in close collaboration with your team members.
You will be part of a driven and high-performing team with great growth ambitions. The customer assignments place great demands on a high work ethic, a burning interest in corporate transactions and business, in combination with great ability to meet deadlines.
What about you?
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in finance, are passionate about financial analysis and want to be part of and contribute to our continued growth journey. We believe you have:
• At least 2 years' relevant work experience from Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence
• Preferably a background in auditing or accounting and some years' work experience in the area
• Great results from university education
• Very good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of how to preform both financial- and macro analyzes and present them in a professional manner
• As a large part of the assignments are of an international nature, it is important that you are fluent in both Swedish and English, in speech as well as in writing
• Studies abroad and/or previous work experience are meritorious
