Senior Automation Engineer

A leading global player in manufacturing and automation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer for an upcoming OT MES Implementation project.
Location: Lund, Sweden (Hybrid/On-site Preferred)Project Duration: 12-Aug-2024 to 29-Nov-2024
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, verify, and implement PLC/MES solutions for new and existing equipment.
Collaborate closely with suppliers, manufacturing units, and product development teams.
Challenge and improve existing manufacturing concepts.
Develop standardized solutions for future implementations.

Requirements:
Technical degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
5-7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industries.
Strong technical background with a solid understanding of system design, automation technologies, and equipment commissioning.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency with PLC Beckhoff (required).
Experience with PLC Rockwell and/or Siemens (advantage).
Familiarity with HMI Aveva (advantage).
