Job Summary
As our Automation & Digital Solutions (A&D) business is growing significantly, we are looking to increase our competence across Europe. Consequently, we are looking to recruit experienced a Senior Automation Specialist. The location of the position can either be in Sweden, Denmark or Home based and you will belong to the virtual team of Plant & Line Integration with colleagues from all over Europe. The position requires travelling approximately 30%-40% of the time.
The purpose and responsibility of the role as Senior Automation Specialist is to implement Automation Upgrades and services within the processing area as well as standard service products. You will support the development of new products and provide comprehensive technical support and service to customers for all automation service products. The role also provides sales support to technical sales and account managers through the entire sales process (understand customer needs, create solution, convey the value).
You will work in close collaboration with the Global and local A&D organization, pre-project and project teams, service teams and Packaging Solutions.

What you will do
Prepare, Design and implement Automation Upgrades
Coordinate work with other automation engineers, consultants and suppliers.
Compile and review relevant technical documentation to be included in the project documentation.
Provide technical concepts to support pre-projects and sales phases.
Carry out remote support, service and start-ups to Tetra Pak processing equipment.
Carry out commissioning of Tetra Pak processing equipment.
Work with and fault find on extra low & low voltage systems, Data Base, IO Servers and Scada systems.
Work with various automation platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Wonderware).
Edit PLC programs and re-commission.
Complete Project Handover and work with sales support and issue resolution.
Write a work report on completion of the work and complete the necessary check sheets and forward promptly to the customer and office.
Document service activities and update customer data, including equipment and contracts.
Carry out customer visits in conjunction with technical issues, assisting the local account managers and Service Manager.
We believe you have
University degree in Information Technologies or Automation Engineering with 3-5 years of experience, preferable in liquid food industry.
Ability to demonstrate through experience, a thorough knowledge of Automation, MES, Industrial IT and data handling.
Bachelor’s degree qualification or knowledge and experience of automation solutions, electrical or electronic engineering and process control.
At least 3 years of experience in the industrial automation sector.
Proven understanding of automation platforms, systems design.
Very good knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell and Wonderware software/ equipment.
Full driving licence.
A very good command of English, both written and verbal is required.
Good verbal, written & computer communication skills.
