Description
For our direct automotive R&D customer in Trollhättan, Sweden, We are looking for an experienced professional with 7+ years experience working in the capacity of Senior Autosar Software Developer.

As a Senior Simulink Developer/Vehicle Motion Controls Engineer you will be part of a team developing our inhouse vehicle motion controls software. The development is done using Simulink and the software Is generated for an Autosar platform. The software itself is handling the three main motion actuators, i.e. the brake system, the steering system and the propulsion system (e-motor).

Tasks
As a software developer you will collaborate closely with your team members, with the simulation and software test engineers as well as with the system engineers. Your focus will be incorporating ISO 26262 requirements into the development.

You will be working with problems related to the vehicle motion control system such as brake blending, torque distribution and vehicle stability using the three main actuators, e-motor, brakes and steering. But you will need to consider functional safety requirements as well as respecting requirements from other vehicle domains impacting the vehicle motion controls capability.

Qualifications
We are looking for experienced embedded software developers that can bring our future integrated vehicle motion controls software to life on an Autosar platform. Integrated Vehicle motion Control (IVC) is where the vehicles motion, both longitudinal and lateral, is integrated & controlled by one software. Our inhouse development have proven the advantages of this approach in several demonstration projects and we are now taking this onto an Autosar environment. With your help we will increase the speed in this development.

Your main activity will be to work closely with the development team and configure the BSW and MCAL using the configuration tools. The team is quite small which gives you the opportunity to work with several modules in the BSW. Furthermore we are in an early development phase so all software requirements are not yet defined. You will also be part of this definition work.
