Today many companies implement CI/CD for their software development. Some have also succeeded to implement it for both software and hardware for a specific product platform. Our journey is toward a CI pipeline for the complete Modular system and Product line - for both SW/HW/Services!

This we will be cutting edge!! And when we succeed we will be in a position that gives Scania and the other brands in our group a super chance to succeed in developing solutions with World class Speed and Flexibility!

Who are you?

We are looking for developers that want to build the “CI-machine”, an automated pipeline for our CI-ability. Persons with a mindset that the coding language is just a tool to reach high business value get triggered in the unknown environment.

Scania is transforming our way of working from traditional organizational silos to scaled Lean agile. We are just starting up a new Value Creation Team (of teams) (a.k.a. “ART” in SAFe). We have collected some of the smartest Scania brains in the area. We have a common goal and will strive for an awesome team spirit that will make us use everyone’s competence to the max, independently of the formal role.

At this stage we don’t know what the solution will look like, hence the technique/languages are still unknown. We do know that most of the surrounding systems are built in Java and .Net, and we are using AWS as the preferred cloud platform.
