About this opportunity

Welcome to the Digital Wealth Engineering team. Digital Wealth Engineering within One Digital is a product and technology focused area supporting the business needs of Digital Wealth in Wealth Management.​ Digital Wealth delivers digital solutions for customers and advisors within the Savings and Investments area and are also supporting the Omnichannel strategy in Nordea within the Savings and Investment areas.

What you will be doing:
* As a Senior Backend Developer you will develop and maintain a portfolio system, designing for quality, high availability, and scalability 
* Design, implement and test calculation logic, APIs, and ETL workloads
* Build creative and simple solutions while helping the team evolve best practices and having a share knowledge mentality
* Experience in communicating with other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
* You should possess a strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive

The role is based in Stockholm.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have following skills:
* Strong core Java developer
* Strong knowledge of Dependency Injection frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot or Quarkus
* Good knowledge in OO design, REST APIs, performant data structures, and algorithms
* Good knowledge using Linux and Docker
* Good knowledge using Test Driven Development and Behaviour Driven Development
* Experience of databases (SQL, NoSQL), like Postgres and Redis
* Experience with microservice and event-based architectures

Preferred qualifications:
* Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience with cloud-based architectures in AWS
* Experience with serverless architectures and infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
* Knowledge of financial markets/instruments
