Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for an experienced software engineer who is able to work with existing applications written in C# and ASP.NET, but who also has experience developing new software according to industry best-practice.

You should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment, contributing to architectural discussions and helping to evolve our ways of working.

About you

- You are a self starter who works well in an agile environment, with a desire to make contributions and improvements to our development environment and practices.
- You have at least 3+ years experience working with C# and .NET Core.
- You are comfortable working within a team of experienced developers to write. high quality clean code, conforming to SOLID principles and with a strong focus on testing.
- Solid understanding of database technologies such as SQL and No-SQL.
- Have worked with Microsoft Azure.
- Have worked with microservices.
- You are security conscious.


Nice to have:

- Experience of domain driven design
- Experience of event driven architecture (e.g. using Apache Kafka)
- Experience with containerisation, and Kubernetes
