We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to grow our tech team!
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. You’ll be working in a growing cross-functional development team, and will work on game integrations, our APIs, video streaming, and data analytics platform.

This is a highly impactful role where you will directly affect how our products are packaged and experienced around the world.

Responsibilities

- Develop our streaming service
- Build game server integrations
- Manage our AWS and Google Cloud
- Clearly communicate both internally and to external clients
- Contribute to mentoring the team with best practices
- Proactively suggest improvements and solutions


Qualifications/Requirements

- Skilled in Kotlin/Java, MongoDB, as well as REST API, and Microservices
- You are comfortable with and care about agile software development processes
- You are able to solve complex problems independently and you have a proven record of building technical products
- You are interested in keeping up with current best practices in your area of expertise
- You know and care about sound engineering practices like automated testing, continuous delivery and defensive programming
- Driven desire to learn and grow professionally
- Comfortable with adapting to change


Bonus Experience

- Experience with Live Streaming or VOD
- Experience with payment systems such as Stripe or Braintree
- Background in the gaming community with a passion for esports
