We are currently looking for a Senior Battery Engineer Energy Storage Systems to strengthen our Cell and battery team!
Our team
You will be part of a global team of dedicated experts that are responsible for early development of new technologies within the areas of hybrid electric powertrains and electrical energy storage systems. We run and participate in a wide range of projects with short and long-term goals!

You will be part of an agile team striving for creativity, analytical thinking, innovation capability and ability to apply knowledge. In this role you will:
Conduct advanced engineering activities within the field of ESS
Implement, refine, and customize diagnostic and analytical methods for characterization of cells, batteries.
Contribute to building up ESS area
Drive technology development projects and concepts within the area
Secure transfer of technologies to product development

This is you
To be successful in this role, we believe that you are a team player, experienced in the analysis and design of battery components and systems. You also have a strong engineering and scientific judgment and a practical approach to technology. You also have:
M.Sc. or PhD Degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
Experienced in evaluating cell or battery characteristics
Good understanding of how cell characteristics effect a battery system performance.
Hands on experience in experimental testing and analysis of battery components

It is a merit If you have:
a PhD degree in applied electrochemistry
experience of Cell design or modeling

Other merits are experience related to safety, simulations and programming.
