Enerpoly is now looking for a Senior Battery Scientist to join our team in Stockholm. You will have a significant role in delivering Enerpoly’s battery technologies to the market and bring the world closer to 100% renewable energy.
The Senior Battery Scientist will report directly to the CTO and work with our talented Battery Scientists & Engineers in the Product Development Team to refine our technology. This position requires laboratory work experience including practical and theoretical troubleshooting. You will contribute your expertise in electrochemistry to innovate, develop and validate technologies for Enerpoly’s battery cells. This role involves initiating new product concepts and ideas and working jointly within a multidisciplinary team to deliver the world’s leading sustainable energy storage solution.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conceptualize and implement novel concepts for battery technologies
Develop new and improved analysis methods to support existing and future products
Apply your expertise of energy storage devices and engineering techniques to development efforts
Skills & Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years practical experience working with energy storage solutions
Experience with different rechargeable battery chemistries and technologies
Depth of knowledge in electrochemistry fundamentals
Knowledge of prototype integration, testing and design validation process
Startup and growth company experience is an advantage
Excellent oral and written English language skills are required
