Senior Battery Test Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated/experienced/driven Senior Test Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent/bold/passionate Performance and Life test lab based in Västerås.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society. We are continuously building a team of experienced engineers and great leaders with industry background.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work closely with and progress the project together with Northvolt experts and specialists from technical, R&D, procurement, quality, construction areas
Collaborate with our suppliers to experiment, iterate, assess performance, and verify requirements of our test equipment
Develop relevant new test methodology and equipment together with testing and validation team
Use your battery testing/experience to support the different projects
Work in the expansion project and contribute to planning and execution of the project
Provide technical expertise, guidance and training our associate engineers
Perform basic troubleshooting and battery performance diagnostics
