Assignment Description:
We are recruiting a Data Analyst/Scientist to be part of our team focussing on Dashboard Design. You’ll work in collaboration with R&D, procurement, and financial functions to make well informed decisions about infrastructure and managed services by providing self-service insights.
This job contains technical aspects, working hands-on with our customer's cloud billing data, master data, and most of all their dashboard designs and configurations.
What you'll do:
● Collaborate with the product teams to drive the definition of relevant KPIs to understand and improve the overall quality of the experience.
● Work hands-on on large data sets to build dashboards, extract valuable data insights and also work on selected more holistic topics.
● End-to-end analytics for your product area, from tracking and defining KPIs to running A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new features.
● Actively contribute to developing a community of practice, foster a data-driven culture and a consumer-centric mindset across the company.
● Understand the business value of data and its Product Owner to design and iteratively develop new and existing solutions, mainly built out using Tableau.
● Takes ownership of projects pertaining to visualizing and producing reports and dashboards for cloud costs, as well as other technology costs, and their trends/shifts related to business metrics, using a wide range of data sources.
● Share your knowledge with our team, empowering them to grow and be ready to operate and tweak solution onwards.
● Work with data engineering to mitigate gaps in datasets, including how to label/tag resources.
● Improve performance where needed, our datasets are substantial in size and grow quickly.
● Explore new conceptual ideas how to influence engineering trade-offs and behaviours. interacting with the users of dashboards to identify improvement opportunities.
Who you are:
● Possess 3+ years’ experience as Data Analyst/Scientist or similar role with a track record of improving results through data.
● A university degree in an analytical field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business) or equivalent.
● Experience with Google Analytics or a similar digital tool such as Adobe or Firebase.
● Past usage of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Data Studio, Power BI or similar.
● Experience conducting A/B tests, applying Tag Management techniques and knowledge of SQL databases, Python, R or similar.
