Senior Business Analyst - CAE

Do you want to be part of Volvo Group’s exciting journey towards simulation driven development? You will play an important part in enabling our R&D organization to evolve in the virtual development activities and promote simulation driven product development.
You will participate in and lead different innovative projects/Activities/Epics to improve the simulation workflow at Volvo Group Truck Technology. You will have the opportunity to develop or improve applications Supporting Volvo GTT in its digital transformation journey and to achieve its commitments to reduce the global warming and therefore reduce its greenhouse gas emission.


Your Mission:
You will identify and lead initiatives and business requirements within the simulation / CAE area to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Managing backlog with Scrum master and Product Owner to support prioritization
Defining and creating user stories with the Simulation Stakeholders
Define requirements acceptance criteria in a form that allows testing the new functionality
Ensure that requirements are understood by all members of the team
Collaborate with stakeholders and other IT teams to develop solutions
Work proactively to be in a Continuous Development process
Preparing guidelines for end-users and communicate all changes

Your competences/Experiences:
This role requires a Master University degree or Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, computer science or engineering physics/chemistry
A proven track record in the simulation area within trucking / automotive industry
Good understanding and working experience of simulation
At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Fluency in English (both verbal & written)

Practical experience in:
documenting the requirements based on Agile methodology
conducting interviews with English-speaking stakeholders
working in Agile projects (Scrum, Kanban)
Ability to prepare, document, analyze and present an epic for revision and decision.
Ability to conduct workshops (use of a wide range of workshop techniques depending on the type of client and their needs
Ability to effectively communicate with team members in multi-cultural and geographically distributed teams
Good knowledge of Collaborative tools such as Office 365, Confluence etc.
