What’s in it for you?
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who can complete our Hardware Design team for the Virtual Hardware Management product at Volvo Cars Headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. 

91790 HW Design is a group within Engineering Enablers at Complete Vehicle Engineering. We are Change Leaders, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Business Architects, equipped with domain knowledge for our areas, leadership skills and a great business knowledge. We are working within Digital Clusters to support our business at R&D. Our job is simply to make our design engineer´s lives less complicated.

HW Design is on an exciting journey towards being a product-oriented software company. You will get to work with exciting challenges in an agile product team, focusing on delivering business value. 

The Design and Virtual Hardware cluster is part of the R&D Digital Area with the purpose to secure full compliance and transparency to all legal requirements for Volvo Cars products and enable the sustainability strategy and roadmap.

What you’ll do 
The purpose of the Virtual Hardware Management product is to provide Engineering Product Streams with the right tools & methods to store, structure and define product data that enables virtual builds and verifications. Our main application is Teamcenter.

As a Senior Business Analyst for the Virtual Hardware Management product, you will work together with the Product owner, analyzing and breaking down business dependencies, in close collaboration with different stakeholders and other cross-functional product teams. You will also be an important part of the team and contribute to an open and safe environment for continuous improvement and collaboration.

You will be a part of building up knowledge for Future PLM initiative to be able to meet important business requirements and developing new and enhanced ways of working for end users. 

You and your skills
To be successful in this role, you need good experience in working within hardware development process as well as good knowledge about Product Creation Engineering process and Product Creation Applications. You also need good experience from working closely with system architects and development teams in defining the systems, functions, modules/interfaces, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate solution alternatives. It is beneficial if you have experience from working in an agile environment and if you are SAFe educated. Further, you are fluent in English and able to create visual communication and presentations to get our improvements deeply implemented into the business.

On a personal level, we are looking for a Business Analyst with an agile mindset and relentless improvement passion. You can understand customer/end user needs and convey them into backlog items that enables the team delivery. You are an efficient networker, used to illustrate information to others, and to create a mutual understanding and alignment for the team. You are comfortable collaborating and communicating with people on different levels of the organization as well as with different backgrounds. Capability to define the business value of the product area and surrounding value streams is important, along with collaboration, facilitation, and delegation skills to involve and engage stakeholders and team members to create ownership and gain results. We are looking for a great spirit that will bring in new ideas and competence to our team.
