Senior Business Analyst till Samsung

We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to an exciting opportunity with our client Samsung! This is a consultancy opportunity, a contract starting as soon as possible until April 2023 with the possibility for an extension.

Job Description: Samsung is in an exciting phase of enhancing our data driven business operations processes and are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Process Innovation Team. In this role, you are the bridge between IT and business divisions, working with capturing business requirements, defining new processes and leading Business Intelligence (BI) projects. You will be working in our Kista Office; the role may include travel in the Nordic region. You will report to SCM & PI Manager.

Key Accountabilities:  

Identify process improvement opportunities in close collaboration with business representatives
Translate business requirements into process and system specifications, data flows and implementation roadmaps
Create concept reports/dashboards and data models
Collaborate with the development team to communicate business requirements, data models and architectural decisions
Facilitate workshops to educate business users in the BI tool
Coordinate and lead Business Intelligence projects
Required Qualifications & Experience:   MSc degree within IT, business administration, engineering or similar
Extensive data analytics background in combination with strong business acumen
Proven track record of leading complex BI related projects with stakeholders from both business and IT
Expert in data analysis, visualization and communication
Comfort and experience of BI, database and statistical languages (e.g. SQL, DAX, Python, R, M)
Experience creating dashboards/visualizations using e.g. Qlik, Power BI or other BI tools
Data -modeling, -transformation and -design experience.
