We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Digital Channel Platforms team.
Who are we?
Our Solution Center Volvo Trucks Retail within Volvo Group IT has the end-to-end responsibility for all development, delivery, and support of IT solutions for the whole Volvo Group. We enable a multitude of end-user services ranging from dealer management & productivity, e-commerce to platforms for digital channels (external public web presence and extranet/portals). As our ‘Business Analyst’, you will lead the way of Volvo Groups' extranet portals part of the Digital Channel Platforms team. You will work in a global environment that provides opportunities to develop yourself both professionally and personally. Our team is based in Gothenburg and in China and you will get the opportunity to work in an agile surrounding on an exciting journey where we are about to transform the digital experience for all our end users.
Role description
In this role you will be a key partner of the business transformation. You will provide advanced expertise and techniques to identify and design new business service opportunities. Also enable digital transformation by promoting the use of digital enablers and strategic partnerships to maximize value creation.
In your daily work, you will be involved in pre-studies, process definitions, end user studies, stakeholder requirements needs, modelling and design ideation to find the optimal solution, consistent and efficient usage of solution and requirement management. You must have a good understanding of the business goals and stakeholder needs!
As part of a team, you will work with various changes/activities such as releases, enhancements/new development, support and other runtime and project activities. All in an agile set-up.
Who are you?
We believe that our new colleague has a university degree in computer science or another related field. Also, at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role. We consider knowledge within the automotive area as an advantage, as well as previous experience working in the portal domain area.
Required skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with multi-cultural and geographically distributed teams
Ability to easily understand and translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization
You thrive in collaborative environments and can take on the role of facilitator when needed
You are a strategic thinker, you understand the business goals and how data can support and drive towards them
Experience in application maintenance, support and development in international assignments
Experience in working in Agile projects (Scrumban, Scrum, Kanban, TFS, Jira as tools)
Experience in documenting the requirements based on Agile methodology
