Being a Transformation Manager in the Asset Business Transformation unit within Vattenfall IT, your main purpose is to support and enable the digital transformation within the asset driven business areas (eg Wind, Hydro, Heat and Distribution) in Vattenfall.
The team is part of Vattenfall IT, the internal IT full-service provider serving the entire Vattenfall Group. As a full-service IT provider, our goal is to excel in delivering efficient IT services and solutions. We are more than 1000 employees located in the Nordics (Sweden, Finland & Denmark), Germany, the Netherlands, UK and Poland.
Tasks:
? Drive our strategic process and topics, together with the transformation team you will drive the strategic process and select focus areas (eg analytics, operational technology (OT), work force management or way of working) to execute on.
? Initiate and drive projects/initiatives (not pure IT projects), together with stakeholders in IT and business.
? Engage business stakeholders and bridge between Vattenfall’s asset driven business areas and the IT organization, to foster knowledge sharing and synergies.
? Follow market and IT trends.
Skills:
? Stakeholder management: To be successful it is crucial you have strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
? Strategic and operational: In this position your need to be able to go both high and low, depending on what is needed to make your assignment succeed. You are able to get in to new topics quickly – also to some extent technical, even though you rely on technical experts to support you.
? Solution oriented: Looking for solutions rather than focusing too much on the difficulties.
? Flexible: able to adjust approach depending on problem and stakeholder relationship.
? Independent and a team player: You are able to take on tasks and run them independently but at the same time involve your colleagues and work together when needed and to ensure the total delivery.
? Manage uncertainty: Be able to handle when you upcoming task is not defined to a 100%, you have to be able to be part of defining and scoping your own work.
? Fluent English (spoken and in writing) is a must
Experience:
? Relevant work experience.
? Strong educational background, or extensive work life experience, in computer science, civil engineering, finance/economics or similar
? Strong background in business development.
? Worked in larger organization, maybe even an international one, is a merit. Maybe you have been a management consultant and/or worked with business development.
? Experience in IT and digitalization topics is definitely a merit.
You will be working in an international environment supporting various Business Areas (such as Wind, Heat, Distribution and Hydro) in different countries. You will be part of a team with project managers and transformation managers today located in Amsterdam (NL), Kolding (DK) and Stockholm (SE). Some travel will be required (plannable, approx. up to 1/month).
