Senior Business Development Manager (maternity cover)

We are now looking for a Senior Business Development Manager who will be the in-house consultant to our Swedish Leadership Team (SE LT) and be based at our head office in Solna

About the job
This position offers you an excellent opportunity to work with strategy and business development directly with the Swedish LT and other senior leaders across the organization.
You areas of responsibilities include:
Leading the local process and governance for the execution and engagement of our new strategy Future26, including directly driving some of our strategic bets
Owning and managing important Business Development projects (e.g. cross-functional strategic projects, M&A, new business opportunities) in tight collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders
Executive Support to the SE Managing Director which includes supporting them in various presentations internally and externally and managing the SE LT modus (e.g. owning the agenda and meeting practicalities)

You will report to the Business Development Director in Europe and have a dotted line to the Swedish Managing Director. You will be a full member of the SE Leadership Team and also become part of the European BD team which consists of driven high-caliber and collaborative individuals.

Who are you?
We are looking for someone who ideally has consultancy or commercial experience combined with a solid educational background. In order to be successful in this role we believe that you have a strong business development toolbox (e.g. business case, structured problem solving and communication, project and stakeholder management skills). Furthermore, you have excellent command of PowerPoint and Excel and fluency in English is a must.

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will need to be independent, self-driven and thrive in working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. Your level of drive lies far above average, and your problem solving skills enables you to challenge the status quo and come up with ambitious solutions.

At the same time, you get your energy from engaging with your team and stakeholders throughout the organization. As a team player, you are ready to collaborate across functions and levels of seniority. Finally, you are assertive and daring to speak up and challenge senior leaders when the need arises.
