Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The Trucks organisation will in our transformation strengthen our team with a Senior Strategic Business Development manager. The role is an important enabler to bring the trucks organisation to the next level in our transformation and in the pursuit of executing our corporate strategy.
Your tasks
• On behalf of the management teams design, prepare and implement strategic initiatives within our governance structure
• Establish and execute new business models throughout the commercial organisations in Scania
• Identify new initiatives in current area of operations and set priorities on decided activities
• Assess and propose new methods, tools and needed structural changes to maximize the output and results from the organization.
• Support the head of sales in business area collaborations
Your profile
• Proven success from developing and implementing change management projects linked to sales and product management organisations within a larger company
• Have an advanced academic degree and experience from working in or close to a commercial environment with a profitability responsibility
• Strong negotiations and merger and acquisition skills and proven ability to drive performance of suppliers and partners globally
• A long experience from the automotive industry preferably both from a Distributor and dealer perspective
• Extensive sales, aftersales, and pricing experience in a leadership capacity
• International experience from similar companies
