Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Managing ongoing supplier contracts and ensuring high service levels.
Purchasing production materials within the Machining and Fabrication commodity.
Handling changes in demand and updating delivery schedules with suppliers.
Overseeing supplier performance, including managing supplier relationships.
Participating in production planning to ensure material availability.
Monitoring deliveries to meet production schedules.
Managing site procurement change control, export control, and ITAR compliance.
Ensuring supplier adherence to contractual responsibilities.
Supporting the development and implementation of strategies in alignment with global Commodity Management.
Collaborating with colleagues across other GKN Aerospace sites to implement strategies locally.
Contributing to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as purchase order arrears, inventory management, product price variance, and on-time delivery.
