Senior Buyer electronic components

Job description
Do you want to work in the electrical vehicle industry and be a part of a company’s procurement process? We are looking for a senior buyer for a global and innovative electric motor company in Stockholm. You will work near product development, production and suppliers along with other buyers. 

Responsibilities
As a senior buyer, you will be responsible for procurement and development of supplier relationships, working together with a team of quality engineers and CPO. Other assignments include negotiating terms with suppliers regarding quality, price and delivery standards for electric components. You will work strategically to implement the best procurement strategies for the company and link sourcing with R&D.

Other responsibilities include:

- Developing and implementing commodity strategies
- Actively drive and develop supplier relationships
- Support R&D with Component Life Cycle Management
- Find and evaluate new suppliers as well as performing supplier selection
- Networking component manufacturers and distributors 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role we require the following:

- Engineer with several years’ work experience of procurement processes.
- You have knowledge about electronics, production processes, excel, project management and negotiating.
- Previous work with Product Cost Roadmap, price reduction projects or process development projects are meritorious. 
- Electronic component market intelligence is meritorious as well. 

As a person, you are independent and able to initiate and perform activities to reach desired goals. You are analytical, a problem solver and you have good communication skills.
