Senior Buyer for a global company in the automotive industry

On behalf of the client, we are looking for you who have the right qualifications, experience and personality for this assignment.On behalf of the client, we are looking for a Senior Buyer within Rail and Warehouse Services and Logistics. 
As Senior Buyer, you will play a key role within the client's global Procurement team whose mission is to develop and maintain a world-class supplier base.
Ensuring the supply of materials and services – at the right cost, quality and technology – is essential for the success of the company. You will be cooperating with people inside and outside the company to create a superior experience for the end user. 

Assignment
Your main tasks are:
- to maximize the client's total value of ownership for your assigned commodity
- to support the development of the sourcing strategy and plan for your assigned commodity
- to lead/support cross-functional sourcing projects including activities of; preparation, execution, analysis, negotiation, supplier selection and contract signing
- to towards individual & team targets and perform administrative tasks related to the job.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have/are:
- You have a university degree or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of work experience from a relevant purchasing role in the classified area
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- High IT maturity and experienced user of Office 365 and relevant purchasing tools and systems 
- Experience in logistics, warehouse management, project management or the automotive industry is meritorious
