We are now looking for a Senior Buyer to join the Team for Indirect Materials and Services (IDM&S) to support country/factories with focus on the Category Professional ServicesSKF Group Purchasing plays a vital role to the success of SKF by providing our businesses with a world-class global supplier base. We are a global community collaborating across borders on both a strategic and operational level. As a professional partner to SKF businesses, we participate throughout the complete value chain of sales, product development, sourcing and aftermarket processes. We contribute to the bottom line result of SKF and deliver value by using a category driven purchasing and a business oriented approach. Your work assignments
We believe you have the skills within Purchasing that are a pre-requisite for this position as well as a mature character. You influence people by inspiring and motivating them through your character and charisma and have the ability to build trust and to manage networking across the entire organization.It is crucial to have significant experience of working in a purchasing position, including but not limited to contract negotiation, sourcing, supplier development. We are looking for a team player who can execute tasks with high accuracy and speed. You should be eager to meet and exceed goals and be able to work well in a demanding and high-paced environment. Key responsibilities:
Negotiation, implementation and maintaining contracts and framework agreements
Manage RFX process, supplier selection, supplier development
Participate in global/regional strategic IDM sourcing projects
Maintain close contact with all stake holders
Support implementation of new processes
Participate in and develop efficient standardized P2P processes
Lead local projects in the area of cost reduction, process improvement and development
Participation in local as well as global strategic sourcing projects and implementation of results in the operational Units in Sweden.
Your background
Required qualifications:
Relevant university degree in purchasing, economics or similar
Minimum 5 years relevant experience of Purchasing and Contractual Management
Fluency in English and Swedish, written and spoken, required
Good communication and negotiation skills
Project Management skills
Experience within the field of Professional Services is meritorius
Experience in working with Change Management is meritorious
Your personal qualities
Positive attitude, proactive and hands on mentality
Result oriented with a strong business focus and stakeholder involvement
Strong team player, self-starter and the ability to take initiatives
Strong composure and integrity
The possibility to travel max 10 days/year
