Senior buyer - Operating fluids

We, IPS POS Operating Fluids & Packaging team, are looking for a Senior Commodity Buyer for Operating Fluids [Genuine Lubricants & Coolant, EV-Fluids, Hydrogen, Fuels, AdBlue, Bio-fuels...] for all Volvo Group vehicles, located in Gothenburg (Sweden) or Lyon (France).

As a Senior Commodity Buyer for Operating Fluids, you will be responsible for driving all the sourcing and project activities and for making sure that the segment strategy is implemented through the selection of the right suppliers, and by continuously securing supplier QDCFTSR performance by using the tools and purchasing/cross functional network during and after production.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Be a senior member in IPS POS Operating Fluids team and contribute to the development of the group in an active way. Ensure that the solutions, products, sourcing and projects area are managed and delivered in an optimal way.
Drive negotiation in order to find cost savings (on top of price agreements) by using sourcing, your owns skills and Purchasing tool box
Lead and advise purchasing decisions across organization
Drive and contribute business segment towards the wanted position, in cooperation with stakeholders [GTO, GTT and all Brands]
Lead the partner & supplier relationships for optimal deliveries
Develop the partnership approach with our Energy suppliers.
Participate on Sustainability transformation journey [EV Fluids, Hydrogen, Bio-fuels, ...]
Manage purchasing QDCF- TSR deliverables (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Features, Technology, Sustainability & Risk)
Perform daily purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financial flows to the supplier
Work in accordance with the Volvo processes, the Code of Conduct and the Volvo Values
