What you will do
At Group Trucks Purchasing (GTP) you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.

As a Segment Leader within our purchasing team you will be responsible for:
* Building and driving the development of the segment strategy and purchasing process to support Volvo’s strategic objectives
* Strengthen Volvo’s competitive advantage by understanding the business needs and the supplier market in this area
* Manage and develop the supplier base, using categorization, segmentation, evaluation, etc. developing resilient and sustainable partnerships
* Manage the segments in a QDCFTSR mindset
* Drive and coordinate the global activities in close collaboration with the regions.
* Negotiate upcoming requests, contract and frameworks with suppliers
* Actively contribute to the team development, by bringing improvement ideas, support your peers, coaching buyers when relevant, sharing good cases
