Senior Buyer to AGN-Haga

We are searching for a Senior Buyer. You will get the possibility to work in one of Europe’s biggest construction company with an exciting infrastructure project.
About AGN Haga
AGN Haga is a Joint Venture owned by Italian Astaldi, Turkish Gülermak and Norwegian NRC Group, based in city center of Gothenburg, Sweden. AGN Haga has been awarded the contract to build Haga station (E04) and Kvarnberget lot (E03) which are two of five main construction projects of the West Link. It is a turnkey project in collaboration with the client Swedish transport administration, Trafikverket.

Your position
As a Senior Buyer you will provide efficient purchasing and procurement management of material and services, within the company’s Procurement Management systems, in conjunction with all related departments.
Verify purchase requisition data and clarify unclear items through timely and detailed communications with requisitions, subcontractors & suppliers.
Respond to critical needs of Project Managers, Field / Cost Engineers, Project Controls, and others as it relates to subcontracting/supply function.
Receive requisition information from Project Managers, Project Engineers, etc
Manage or participate in negotiations
Evaluate quotations and prepare Economical Bid Evaluations.
Issue Purchase Orders by means ERP System (BaaN, Sap, etc.)

Requirements:
Relevant Business Administration or Engineering qualification.
Extensive knowledge of Contracts & Procurement in the construction industry
Extensive knowledge/experience in procuring Services in an international environment
A University degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience from a relevant Purchasing role
Good knowledge of MS Office, ERP system
Our first language is English and you need to be comfortable with English in both writing and speaking. If you know more languages, it’s a bonus!
