We are looking for a Senior Buyer that are up to the challenge to drive transformation from existing technology to the future sustainable technology and who will be responsible for Components/Systems within the Engine & Systems team.
This includes Gearboxes, Couplings, Transmission- and Driveline related components. Besides being responsible for QDCF-TSR (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability, Risk) for the supplier base, you will also have the role as Strategic Lead with the responsibility to coordinate, develop and execute the strategy for the Commodities within your scope. This means that you will lead the Purchasing transformation towards new and sustainable technology for your commodity.

What will you work with as Senior Buyer Transmission?
Lead and coordinate strategic work in cross functional commodity teams, this includes develop and execute commodity strategies
Manage the supplier relationships and performance (QDCF-TSR) for the entire product life cycle: operational, project and sourcing phases. Co-operate cross functionally to achieve the best solution
Perform the activities required for the commodity: negotiations, sourcing, re-sourcing, follow-up of contracts and agreements with suppliers and ensure implementation, optimize total cost, risk management, drive synergies within Volvo Group
Contribute to drive the business transformation within the commodity to shape a sustainable future

Experienced with a solid purchasing knowledge from related areas
Responsible, dependable and that you like to do business, since that is what this job is about
