Key Words Outdoor Cabinet, Indoor Cabinet , subrack, Engineering, Design For Manufacturing Responsibilities Telecom mechanical design We are currently looking for a Senior mechanical design engineer to our Engineering competence centre to take on the challenge to plan and design the build-up of our future radio base station platforms. The work will be done in very close cooperation with our system design teams in Kista and our head office in China Qualifications Required Telecom mechanical design We require at least 5-10 years of experience in mechanical design of radio base station related concepts and products. I e cabinets and sub-racks This means mechanical design experience of products aimed for high volume production, high degree of customisation, with modular build-up and that works under challenging environmental conditions. We believe that this has given the candidate has a deep understanding of the complexity of cooling of electronics and the importance of DFA and of a high level of product integration. For this position we also value experiences of the ?platform, concept & product portfolio? discussions that take place during the initial phases of a product lifecycle. Knowledge of ETSI and NEBS mechanical standards for telecom equipment is preferred.? The candidate can of course communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing We require Bachelor Degree, Masters or higher majoring in mechanical engineering or equivalent background. Additional skills required We expect that the candidate can work independently as well as in a team The candidate should have a high focus on delivering high quality work The candidate should have a strong feeling and interest for development and to share experiences with others in the team and a proven capability to pursue creative solutions.
