Senior CAD Engineer

Do you want to develop design engineering documentation, such as drawings and CAD modules? Do you also want to mature the product in the CAD system?

On behalf of our world leading automotive client we are now looking for a Senior CAD Engineer with 7-10 years of experience for their increasing consultancy. The mission will start in the middle of March or after agreement where the right consultant will be extended or hired after 12 months. Arbetsuppgifter

As a CAD Design Engineer for Storage Systems you will work in all engineering phases, from advanced engineering to concept generation, detailed development and industrialization. Engineering documentation is done in Catia V5, Enovia and Kola.

Other typical tasks include writing technical specifications, supporting our supplier teams, defining product structure and working closely with feature responsible, testing engineers and product design. The role is cross functional which means you will align your system/component area issues within the whole company organization and closely cooperate with suppliers, purchasing, manufacturing, testing, aftermarket etc.

Utbildning/erfarenhet

- Documented experience of product development, designing plastic and sheet metal components
- Several years of experience working in Catia V5 and KOLA
- Experience in using Volvo IT systems like Protus, Lync and Team Place
- Good knowledge in English, both written and spoken
