Senior CAD Engineer

You will


Contribute to the mechanical design team for battery enclosures. Here you design and document new and existing items and components. It can be advanced engineering activities, projects as well as maintenance activities. We are designing our items and components in CREO and use Windchill PDM link. You will be part of a team which develops the next generation of world-class batteries. The group is also responsible for service box, breathing and venting units. We need your expertise and eye for design. You will be encouraged to speak up! We want you to be heard.
Design and prepare 3D-geometry for different purposes
Make 2D-drawings and create and update CAD modules
Take part of creating future battery concepts.
Perform registration and structure of the components, drawings and CAD modules



How to succeed


You show up as a communicative person who can easily plan, align, and focus on the most important things and highest priorities. You have a can-do attitude and like to deliver with a great outcome. You can create concepts and ideas and implement them without hesitation.


You are also
Innovative and hold a B.Sc. in Mechanical engineering or similar education or equivalent experience
Proven experience and fluency with at least 5 years CAD engineering experience of mechanical design from automotive industry, preferably with experience working in CREO
Truly engaged and committed design engineer. Interested to learn and expand your skills, particularly in the area of battery technology and how these effects it’s enclosure
Interested and comfortable to work in an Agile way, using work sprints and collaborative decision making to get the best possible results
You also speak and write fluently in English.
