Senior CAD Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the mechanical design team for battery enclosures, designing and documenting new and existing items and components.
• Utilize CREO and Windchill PDM link to design items, components, and the next generation of world-class batteries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments, actively participating in the creation of future battery concepts.
• Perform 3D-geometry design and prepare 2D-drawings, ensuring accurate and up-to-date CAD modules.
• Register and structure components, drawings, and CAD modules for efficient project management.

About you
To excel in this role, we highly value:

• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Initiative: A can-do attitude with a proven track record of delivering outstanding results.
• Innovation: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (B.Sc.) or equivalent experience.
• Proactive Approach: Willingness to take initiative in projects and collaborate effectively both within and outside the Energy Storage System (ESS) department.
• CAD Expertise: At least 7 years of CAD engineering experience in mechanical design, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Battery Experience: Experience in working with battery technology or battery enclosures is a significant advantage for the CAD Engineer role.
• Passion for Design: A genuine passion for design engineering and a strong desire to learn and expand skills, especially in battery technology and its enclosure.
• Agile Environment: Comfortable working in an Agile environment, utilizing work sprints and participating in collaborative decision-making processes.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent spoken and written English proficiency.

 

About the position
The assignment is a consultant position with employment at Adecco. The start will take place as soon as possible after agreement.
