Senior CAE Engineer

ALTEN Gothenburg is now expanding and seeking an experienced member to strengthen our in-house team related to Durability, NVH and Safety CAE. We have several up and running workpackages and see high potential in growth. It could involve different industries like Automotive, Defense, Energy, Medtech and others. We are also the Centre of excellence within CAE for Alten Nordics and support our other offices, when possible, to outsource workload. 

We are looking for you who has a proven background within CAE and preferably within Durability. Fatigue, NVH and/or Safety. The job could also involve taking on technical lead and coordinate some projects when needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The job involves teamwork with your closest colleagues at ALTEN within Durability, NVH and/or Safety CAE. It also involves a great communication with ALTEN coordinators for the package as well as with the Customer. It could also involve technical lead and coordinate some projects if needed. You will work in an agile setup.

 IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE WE BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE:
Proven experience within ANSA, META, ABAQUS, NASTRAN and/or LS-Dyna.
Minimum 6 years of experience working as CAE Engineer within Durability and/or NVH for the Automotive industry.
You should be fluent in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is a plus. We are expecting excellent communication skills, ease to translate complicated computational concepts to the public, and a collaborative approach with co-worker and customers. 

IT IS A BIG PLUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
Skills in OptiStruct, MATLAB and Python.
Swedish or EU citizenship.
