Are you passionate about capital adequacy regulation, enjoy solving complex problems and would like to be involved in interpreting and implementing upcoming regulatory changes such as CRR3/ Basel 4?
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Interpret and define new and existing regulations, supporting the CAD reporting teams and the Business. One of our tasks is to ensure that the Bank is compliant with the applicable CAD regulation. The team hosts the CAD Review Group and the CAD Policy Group which are the forums where significant principal issues within the CAD area are discussed.
- Be a key player regarding analysis of and early involvement in upcoming regulation changes. We contribute to the lobbing work done by the Bank within the Capital Adequacy area.
- Work closely with other team members, the business partners as well as other staff and control functions. Furthermore, you may also be called upon to represent Swedbank in work carried out by the Bankers’ associations regarding capital adequacy.
- Be engaged in education of the organization in CAD regulatory issues. The department has a strong focus on structure, strategy and control and we expect you to contribute to these areas.
What is needed in this role:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and a proven track record of extraordinary performance together with excellent presentation and communication skills
- 3-8 years’ experience of regulatory interpretation gained working for a bank, a banking supervisor or a consultancy firm, with experience of delivering to executive committees.
- We expect that you will have worked directly with the application or implementation of CRR and CRD.
- Knowledge of the internal risk based approach for credit risk is an advantage but not a requirement.
- You shall have high integrity and a deep interest in the upcoming challenges within the area of capital adequacy.
- You have the ability to easily cooperate with other professionals as well as the capacity to meet deadlines and deliver with high standards.
- It is also important that you have a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
- You should be comfortable with communicating in English.
