About this opportunity
Welcome to the Regulatory Analytics team. We add value by analysing large datasets, bringing our perspective to business events and new regulation, and by working on automation projects. As a (Senior) Capital & Risk Analyst you’ll play a valuable role in delivering on Nordea’s committents and obligations towards our regulators.
What you’ll be doing:
* Work with large datasets and analyse the development of finance, credit and capital risk data
* Participate in “deep dives” into a given portfolio, product or business area to aid management decision making and/or respond to supervisory requests
* Participate in business events, such as a merger or acquisition, conduct impact assessments and help integrate into the bank’s reporting setup
* Participate in Quantitative Impact Studies (QIS) to assess the impact of new regulation on the bank
* Develop and innovate new solutions to address stakeholder needs
* Work on automation projects to improve the efficiency and accuracy of reported data

The role is based in Stockholm.

Your experience and background:  
* An academic degree in finance, mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering or similar.
* Strong interest and ability in a programming language a must (SAS, SQL, Python and/or R preferred).
* Prior experience with Basel III/CRD IV and accounting knowledge (IFRS)
* Solid analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
* Strong interest and desire to keep up-to-date with the changing regulatory landscape
* Ability to work well within a team as well as with other teams across the bank
