What’s in it for you?

As Senior Category Buyer, you will lead a global team of buyers and SQMs. You will be responsible for a category area with high turnover.
We are a team of 16 buyers within Seats, Occupant Safety & Surface Materials located in Gothenburg. The team belongs to the organization Direct Material Procurement Interior responsible for all interior components. 
In the role, you will be defining and implementing global category and vendor strategies, sourcing new projects & market testing current business. You enjoy and are very skilled in managing relationships with international suppliers and collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, and others.

To succeed in this role, you have a Business or Technical University degree (or equivalent).
Minimum three years automotive purchasing experience
Proficient in English. It is meritorious if you are proficient in Swedish.
You also have a strong business acumen combined with high integrity and can prioritize your own work and always deliver on time.
Supplier relations are important, where your excellent communication skills, is a great ability. Daily negotiation is also one of your strongest areas.
