Senior Chemist

Global Product Compliance Europe AB was established in 2008 and is now a leading company among regulatory service providers. We have registered over 1,200 substances under EU REACH, of which more than 400 as lead registrant. Our extensive experience in EU REACH together with our large client base has prompted us to venture into several new chemical regulations, such as those in South Korea and Turkey. Apart from chemicals, we also provide regulatory services for agricultural products and cosmetics in EU and other parts of the world. We have over 1,500 happy clients and a customer retention rate of 99%.
In this role, you will work in the areas of physical and chemical properties, analytical chemistry, and grouping of substances. Main work activities will include, but not be limited to the following:
. Desktop research and analysis of technical literature
· Prepare endpoint records related to physical and chemical properties of substances in a software called IUCLID
· Perform grouping of substances based on e.g. functional groups or common breakdown products as determined in silico
· Interact and share expert advice with our technical staff in Nagpur, India
· Respond to decision letters from the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA)
Qualifications
· MSc and PhD in organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, or related field, is a minimum requirement
· Documented work experience in analytical chemistry will be considered advantageous
· Knowledge in grouping of substances will be considered advantageous
