Senior Cloud Engineer (with Architectural Focus)

About the role 

Join our Cloud and Architecture team as a Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong development background. You'll play a pivotal role in optimizing our cloud infrastructure, focusing on AWS and cloud solutions, as well as helping our developers thrive.

What you will be doing

- Optimize Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage AWS and cloud solutions to enhance our systems.

- Collaborate for Efficiency: Work closely with developers to identify areas for improvement.

- Architectural Expertise: Contribute to design patterns and strategies for systems and developer efficiency.

- Continuous Optimization: Evaluate and refine cloud solutions for peak performance.

- Tech Stack: Proficiency in modern application development within an open-source tech stack in a typed language.

- DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD, automated deployment, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.

- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills for solving various IT-related problems.

Having knowledge of the following would be a plus:

A Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).

- Knowledge about Kubernetes, gRPC, and Kafka.

- Knowledge about Terraform CDK.
