ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Senior buyer and Segment Leader for metallic tubes, you will be taking the lead in driving our Exhaust & Metallic pipes business. Your purchasing responsibilities will be focusing on areas such as:
Own and develop the segment strategy, consolidate inputs from a global network of buyers, and ensure cross functional alignment;
Be an expert on the related segment, defining the purchasing strategies, sourcing and managing suppliers, in link with industrial and technical roadmaps;
Forecast cost evolution for your scope, implement agreements, secure competitiveness and cost levels in line with the market;
Monitor your Supply Chain, identify and mitigate risks in cooperation with internal stakeholders (Quality, Manufacturing & many others);
Bring innovation in your scope and actively contribute to the VOLVO Transformation & Sustainable journey
