As a Commodity Buyer, you will play a critical role in managing our supply chain and ensuring the availability of high-quality automotive components at competitive prices. Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement commodity sourcing strategies to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain for automotive components.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production, to define component requirements and ensure supplier compliance.

- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations, contract negotiations, and issue resolution.

- Continuously monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to proactively mitigate risks and identify opportunities.

- Drive cost reduction initiatives through value analysis, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.

- Analyze supplier performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, quality etc.



Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

- Proven experience as a Commodity Buyer or in a similar procurement role within the automotive industry.

- Deep understanding of automotive commodities, such as metals, plastics, electronics, or powertrain components.

- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a track record of achieving cost savings and driving supplier performance.

- Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, market analysis, and supply chain management principles.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain.

- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in using procurement software and systems for data analysis, supplier evaluation, and contract management.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information and influence decision-making at various levels.
